KP Government has made its intentions clear to increase the provincial own revenue receipts by not only increasing the tax net but also facilitating the citizens to file their tax returns with ease under one-window operation system. KP Revenue Authority has outperformed in last month, by collecting over 1.2 Billion rupees as Service Tax, which is a record. Taimur Jhagra has directed KP Revenue Authority to increase the monthly collection to 1.7 Billion rupees on average. The target till 2023 is 50 Billion rupees, which will be a record collection ever, and will be utilised on better service delivery for KP citizens.
Modern Tax Facilitation Center (TCF) and Training Center inaugurated by KP Finance Minister Taimur Jhagra and German Youth Ambassador Marion Pfennings at KPRA HQ, Phase 3 Hayatabad Peshawar. The facilitation center will ease the registration of businesses as part of “Ease of Doing Business Reforms” agenda. German delegation appreciated the efforts of KP Government to make the process easier for the citizens and forwarded their full support for the cause.
